“The renowned ex-footballer and entrepreneurial speaker visits the KTO office in Europe for the first time”

Since being appointed as a KTO Social Ambassador, Tinga has played a big part in branded events for KTO Brazil. 

Hailing from Porto Alegre in Rio Grande do Sul, Tinga has had a successful football career at both domestic and international levels. Playing as a central midfielder, he started out at his local team Gremio and has played around the world at renowned clubs Borrusia Dortmund and Sporting Club de Portugal. In the later years of his career, he returned to Brazil where he played for clubs Internacional and Cruzeiro.

By winning some of the most prestigious awards in Brazilian football, Tinga cemented his legacy. He won the Copa Libertadores with both Internacional and Cruzeiro, as well as the Campeonato Gaúcho, Mineiro and Recopa Sudamericana. He was also included in the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A Team of the Year in 2005. 

Tinga is now a public speaker and presents lectures about his time on and off the pitch. He frequently discusses topics on social responsibility, motivation and self-innovation. 

Tinga paid a visit to the European offices for the first time on March 13th 2023. He met the team and attended a welcome presentation about the brand’s operations in Brazil.
