In order to explain a little more about the world of betting and also about how the world of sports betting works, bookmaker KTO.com created the podcast ‘Betting’, which has weekly episodes lasting approximately 25 minutes. ‘The podcast is a model in which the information has a longer validity period,’ explains the KTO country manager for the Brazilian market, Cássio Filter.
Journalists Eduardo Garbi and Leandro Silva present in a light and relaxed way how a betting site works.
During each episode on Spotify, they talk about their experiences in the betting world, explain how certain markets work and comment on the results of competitions, in addition to bringing guests to interact in each program.
One of the objectives of the initiative is to demystify the world of betting to the general public. “The idea is to present our activity as an entertainment option. The two presenters love football, and they really like to bet and do it for leisure. So, at ‘Betting’ they talk about everything that involves wagering, both on the good and on the bad side,” explains KTO country manager for the Brazilian market, Cássio Filter.
The option of a podcast to promote the brand also goes against the way people consume information today. “Today, people no longer adjust their routine to a television or radio program. They consume that content whenever they want. So the podcast ends up being a model in which the information has more validity time,” completes the executive.
The KTO group arrived in Brazil in the first half of 2019, supported by a strong partnership with Napoli. Among the main markets of the bookmaker that has a Curaçao license are Finland, Germany, Austria, Poland and Norway. In Latin America, the company is also present in the Peruvian territory, where the expansion of its physical stores advances rapidly.
